25-40lb Rig

Reel- Penn Fathom 30 or Torque 30 (or your reel of choice) - 50lb or 65lb spectra preferred for line 

Rod- Calstar 7400m - well balanced for 25-40lb line 

Applications- Finesse live bait 

 

SET UP 2

50-60lb Rig

Reel- Penn Fathom 40 or Torque 40 (or your reel of choice) - 80lb Spectra 

Rod- Calstar 7400H

Applications- Tuna (50-140lbs), Wahoo, Yellowtail, medium Jigs for yoyo jigs, Wahoo bombs, sinker rig, Dropper loop

 

SET UP 3

80-100lb Rig 

Reel- Penn International 16USX (or your reel of choice) - 100lb Spectra

Rod- Rail Rods must be well balanced, 6.5-7.5 foot rod. Calstar 7470xH - 7075xH preferred. 

Applications- Sinker rig, knife jig, dropper loop

Optional- 40-50lb Jig Stick

    Reel- Penn Fathom 30 

    Rod- 90J Calstar

    Line- 40-50lb mono
